The aptly named Villa W View enthralls guests with its panorama of the whole of St Jean Bay, providing postcard worthy views throughout the day and night, and amazing sunsets as a bonus. With its setting, high above the bay and the town, this villa provides a ton of privacy, yet the restaurants, shops and beaches are all within a few minutes by car.

While unmistakably Caribbean, Villa W View has some differences that make it beautifully unique. The green roofs of this luxury rental villa echo the lush tropical plants surrounding it, and the 32ft infinity pool is covered in one corner by the massive terrace roof, unique because of its high, vaulted ceilings and because one of the roof’s supporting columns seemingly floats in the pool! The huge covered terrace provides so much more living space for guests, including places to sit and relax or dine alfresco while pondering the wonderful views, and the sun decks are set over several levels to give the sense of even more space.

With its large openings from inside to out, the serene views of St Jean Bay can be seen from the entire indoor living space. The theme inside is predominantly white with an even higher ceiling than is typical for St Barths, giving a very bright and airy ambiance. This main living area is divided between dining and living space with the large and very well-equipped kitchen behind, still enjoying the views. The whiteness of the room is broken up here by the warm wood of the lower cabinets, and the copper accents within the light fixtures which mimic the sun. Throughout the villa, the sense of space is incredible, providing spots for quiet retreat or conviviality, depending on the mood.

Ideal for a family, or several couples, this villa’s four bedrooms really fulfill that retreat-like quality. The master suite has its own bungalow, individual from the main building with ocean views and bathroom. A separate two-story building houses the other three bedrooms, each with ensuites, and there’s a small gym and home cinema room here too. Three of the four bedrooms have king beds while the fourth features two twins that can be made into a king is desired.
